EDUCATION: Master's in Higher Educations Administration, Purdue University; Bachelor's in German and Music, Earlham College

PROFESSION: Academic Advisor in Biology @ IUPUI since 2008

REASON FOR JOINING VOCE: I am new to the group but love singing in a small ensemble. I also enjoy being responsible for working on the music outside of rehearsal then finessing the music with the group. I love a variety of music but especially classical music of most genres.

FAVORITE MUSIC: I am most passionate about Baroque and Renaissance music but also love 20th -21st Century compositions. My favorite early composers are Bach, Mozart, Giovanni Gabrieli (especially the double choir compositions), Orlando Gibbons and many others. My favorite modern composers are Eric Whitacre, Gwyneth Walker, Benjamin Britten  and Michael Tippet.

FAVORITE CHORAL MEMORY:I have so many that it is hard to choose. a fairly recent wonderful memory is getting to perform the role of Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas in my first season with Encore Vocal Arts. I had sung the role of Dido in college, so this was really fun. Periodically, I have experienced true transcendence in a performance. It is an unparalleled feeling!

VOCE: Artistic Committee, soloist
