Robert Bolyard (he/him) is a choral conductor and multi-instrumentalist specializing in keyboard and string instruments. A native of Los Angeles, CA, Robert moved to Indiana in 2016; in addition to being the Artistic Director of VOCE, he currently serves as music director of St. Francis In-The-Fields Episcopal Church. Alongside his work as a conductor, Robert has appeared in professional viola da gamba consorts and early music ensembles across the country, and serves on the boards of Echoing Air, Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, and Indianapolis Early Music Festival. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the Yale School of Music, and lives in downtown Indianapolis with his husband Andrew and their son Ian.
